BALDOYLE UTD LINK UP WITH SHAMROCK ROVERS
9 April 2020: We are delighted to announce that Baldoyle United FC is now an official affiliate club to League of Ireland champions Shamrock Rovers.
The club has been in discussions with the Hoops for a period of time and the link-up with the most successful side in League of Ireland history can now be officially revealed ahead of the return to training on 26 April.
It will mean a number of things for Baldoyle Untied including coaches from Shamrock Rovers working with Baldoyle coaches to further develop coaching techniques to a professional level for both the boys and girls sections, and from the small sided-games to the 11-a-side game levels.
Baldoyle United is the only club in north Dublin to be a Shamrock Rovers affiliate club and it is fitting that both United and Rovers share the famous green and white hooped shirts. Many thanks to Rovers’ Community Officer Tony O’Neill and Academy Director Shane Robinson for facilitating the link-up.
