BALDOYLE UTD RECEIVES FAI CLUB MARK

We are delighted to announce that Baldoyle United FC has received the
FAI Club Mark award. The FAI Club Mark is "an award based on best practice in the governance,
management and administrationof a football club."

Over the last two years the club has worked hard to ensure systems and processes are in
place to promote football, develop players and ensure good governance.

The award of the Club Mark is recognition by the FAI that the club meets high standards in
terms of administration, child protection, and coach and player development.
Congratulations to everyone in the club and our FAI Club Mark officer Dave Nutley.

NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL

Along with our new website we have launched a new YOUTUBE Chanel of our own - BUTV-Baldoyle

We have a put up a few Baldoyle United videos from recent years there and will be adding more over the next few weeks.

Training by Zoom - 10 May 2020

Coronavirus hasn't stopped Baldoyle United Under 9s from practicing their skills. Coaches Eoin Leeson, Barry Byrne and Sean Russell have set up weekly 30-minute training sessions by ZOOM. The boys join the session from the safety of their own gardens and the coaches put them through their paces. It's all finished off with a fun quiz.

U16 girls coach Justin Reilly has also used Padlet, Strava and coach education webinars to help develop his team.

It's a fantastic initiative from the lads and we hope to see other coaches doing it over the next few weeks.

Under 12s win North Leinster SFAI Cup

Baldoyle United U12s are Schoolboys Football Association of Ireland Nth Leinster Cup winners. The boys beat a very strong Skerries Town side 2-1 at the Oscar Traynor Centre in Coolock. Cheered on by a large Baldoyle crowd the boys conceded the first goal but showed great spirit to equalise before half time.  A key moment in the game came early in the second half. A penalty awarded to Skerries was brilliantly saved by Oisin. Then with 10 minutes left a cross from Aaron found Kit at the back post who stuck it away in the corner to give Baldoyle a 2-1 win. A fantastic achievement for the team and the club. Huge credit to coaches Sinead McKenna and Paul Lally, and everyone involved in coaching the boys over the last few years. Pictures and videos on our Facebook site
